An electric motor converts electricity into mechanical motion. Dc motor speed generally depends on a combination of the voltage and current flowing in the motor coils and the motor load or braking torque. All of these tools have manual equivalents (see hand tool). Engines become more powerful, and use more fuel, as the size and number of cylinders increase. Torque Wrench One has fixed jaws opening at right angles to the shaft handle; used to remove supply nuts and hose-coupling nuts on faucet-spray attachments under worktables, sinks and lavatories. The diameter of a screw is the outer diameter of the thread, which is approximately equal to the diameter of the shaft before a thread was cut in it. Use your better judgment as to how many passes are necessary, but in general, 1/4 inch depths are a safe increment to use. The magnitude of the force of attraction or repulsion is given by coulomb's law. For example, aluminum or vinyl siding looks better and lasts longer when it is cleaned regularly, but an ordinary garden hose does not do an effective job, and getting up on a ladder to scrub it by hand is exhausting, time-consuming and dangerous. An electric tool gives you the flexibility to adjust things such as initial speed, initial power, initial shut-off torque and final shut-off torque. Better reseating tools have tapping attachments for reseating faucets with faulty and battered seat threads. Robertson drive head has a square hole and is driven by a special power-tool bit or screwdriver (this is a low-cost version of the hex head for domestic use).
